Soppressata Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza dough
  • 4 oz thinly sliced dry-aged soppressata
  • 1 cup fresh arugula
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes for extra heat

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (or follow the instructions on your pizza dough for optimal baking).
  2. Assemble the Flatbread: Place the flatbread or rolled-out pizza dough on a baking sheet. Drizzle a little olive oil on the surface and spread it evenly.

  5. Add Arugula and Honey: Remove the flatbread from the oven, and immediately top it with fresh arugula. Drizzle with honey for a touch of sweetness and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) for extra flavor.
